To measure the impact of the Thoughtful Teacher trainings and coaching program, we conducted a research project during the 2018-19 school year.  Select findings are below.

• 94 percent of teachers reported that Thoughtful Teacher training made them more effective by improving their instructional practices.
• 75 percent of teachers noted that Thoughtful Teacher training resulted in fewer disciplinary referrals in their classrooms.
• 97 percent of teachers agreed that coaches’ feedback was meaningful was meaningful and could be implemented within 3 days.
• 81 percent of teachers identified Thoughtful Teacher Training as the reason for a decrease in student exclusions from class for disruptive behaviors.
